At our Trust, we believe that true support goes beyond temporary relief and it creates opportunities for dignity, independence, and long-term stability. One of the most meaningful ways we work toward this goal is by supporting widows through livelihood assistance, particularly by providing sewing machines and grinders.
Restoring Hope through Skill-Based Support
Widows often face immense social and financial challenges. Many are the sole providers for their families, yet lack access to steady income or resources. By providing practical tools like sewing machines and grinders, we enable them to use existing skills or learn new ones to earn a sustainable livelihood.
A sewing machine can open doors to tailoring, stitching, and embroidery work from home. A grinder helps women start small food-related businesses preparing spices, grains, or other essentials for local markets. These tools may seem simple, but for the women who receive them, they represent opportunity, confidence, and self-reliance.
More than Machines and a Path to Independence
Our initiative is not just about donating equipment. It’s about empowering widows to stand on their own feet, support their children’s education, and regain a sense of purpose and respect within their communities. Many beneficiaries have gone on to establish small home-based businesses, contributing to household income and even supporting others.
